The
30% Sales Tax/Rebate Fraud |
 |
These are the names (below) of Congress persons that
want to inflict upon you one of the most UNFAIR tax systems ever invented.
Do you want a tax system that is REGRESSIVE? Perhaps, if you are
very wealthy, since that is who it will benefit the most.
If you take anything away from this discussion, it should be this:
- Ask yourself:
- WHO will love this Un-FairTax.org 30% Sales Tax/Prebate System the most ?
- and WHY ?
- After the puny prebate is gone (or insignificant at
higher income levels), it is nothing more than a simple, flat 30% SALES Tax.
- After the puny prebate is gone (or insignificant at
higher income levels; about $2400 for the
single person, $5902 for family of 4), spending is taxed at a massive
30% (including
food, medical, prescriptions, etc.). That is, after the rebate is gone, it is
a pure 30% Sales tax. Also a single person a $2400
prebate does not mean the recipient (a single person) has $8K to spend
(i.e. the equivalent amount that would be un-taxed by a $2400 prebate).
That is far different from simply not taxing income below the poverty level
(as recommended in this
17%
Income Tax Only On Income Above the Poverty Level).
- Can you say:
Black Market ?
- After the puny prebate is gone, ALL Sales taxes are
REGRESSIVE, unless EVERYONE spends the same percentage of their gross income,
in which case it is only NEUTRAL; not progressive. These claims
of being progressive is a half-truth only. It is essentially a clever
fraud.
- Ask those that support the Un-FairTax.org's 30% Sales
Tax/Prebate system to explain away
these many serious issues. Then observe the many clever techniques to
cloud the issues, obscure the facts, change the subject, and avoid your
questions (typical cheater tactics).
- Where is the proof that the regressive 30% Sales Tax/Prebate
Tax system, which taxes spending, is more fair
than taxing gross income equally?
- There is a better way that is much more fair and
simple: a FLAT
17%
income tax that only taxes income above the
poverty-level; no tax loopholes, and no corporate income taxes (that simply get passed
on to consumers as more hidden & regressive sales taxes)?
Which
tax system do you prefer?
These are the names, as of Oct-2007 (below), of the 91 Congress persons
(86 Republicans, 5
Democrats) that are advocating one of the most unfair tax systems ever conceived (BILL HR-25 & S-1025 (the
